Old City - Jaffa Gate

A 40-minute sound-and-light show projected onto the walls of the Tower of David citadel, telling Jerusalem's story in images and music with no spoken language. Two versions run - the classic Night Spectacular and 'King David' - ticketed separately from the museum.

Night Experiences ticket: adult ₪69, child 3-18 ₪59, Israeli senior or student ₪64, soldier or visitor with a disability ₪43. A combined museum + night show ticket is ₪108 adult / ₪83 child 5-18 / ₪83 Israeli senior / ₪95 student, and at checkout you can add museum admission to a show ticket at 30% off. Children 3-18 need their own ticket for the night show.

Parking

Karta lot at Jaffa Gate (paid) and Mamilla underground on Alrov Avenue (free first hour) are both a couple of minutes from the citadel - the most convenient parking of any Old City site. Safra Square is a slightly longer walk.

Getting there

Light rail to City Hall, then about 10 minutes on foot to Jaffa Gate; buses run to Jaffa Gate and Mamilla. Taxis may enter Jaffa Gate at any hour.
