Kerb colours: can I park here?

In Jerusalem the kerb tells you the rule. Find your colour.

  • Blue and white

Paid parking during the hours on the sign at the start of the street, paid by app (Pango or Cello). Outside those hours it's free. In some zones residents with a permit park free.

  • Red and white

No stopping or parking, at any time.

  • Red and yellow

Bus stops and public transport only.

  • Unpainted

Free, unless a sign says otherwise. Many side streets are reserved for permit holders at certain hours.

  • Wheelchair symbol

Disabled parking card holders only. Fines are high.

A sign always beats the kerb: check the start of the street for hours and permit zones.
