Online Shopping in Israel: The Sites That Actually Deliver to Jerusalem

Israelis shop online a great deal, and Jerusalem is well served, with one adjustment: delivery mostly means a courier SMS and a pickup point rather than a box on the doorstep. Groceries
The supermarket chains deliver from their own sites and apps: Shufersal Online and Rami Levy Online for the weekly shop, delivered by their own drivers in a chosen slot, and Wolt for restaurant food and same-hour groceries. Electronics and appliances
KSP, Ivory and Bug are the electronics chains with the largest online ranges and their own pickup points around the city; Zap compares prices across every seller before you commit. Appliance chains and the home-improvement warehouses in Talpiot deliver large items to the door and will take the old one away for a fee.
Clothes and shoes
Terminal X is the Israeli fashion marketplace with fast delivery and easy returns; the chains (Castro, Fox, Renuar, Golf) sell from their own sites with collection in any branch. Internationally, Next, ASOS and Shein ship to Israel, and AliExpress is enormous here for cheap basics if you can wait.
Furniture and the apartment
IKEA delivers to Jerusalem from its stores outside the city, with assembly as an extra. Home Center and Ace cover the rest of the flat. For second-hand, Yad2 is the classifieds site everyone uses, Facebook Marketplace and the neighbourhood WhatsApp groups move furniture between departing and arriving families, and the Anglo community groups are where the good deals go first. Collection is on you; a hovala (small removals van) is booked by phone and priced by the hour.
Books, vitamins and the things you miss
Amazon ships many items directly to Israel and its shipping promotions come and go, so check at checkout rather than assuming. iHerb is the standard for vitamins and international pantry items, shipped by courier. Book Depository is gone; for English books use Amazon or the two Israeli chains, Steimatzky and Tzomet Sfarim, whose English shelves are better online than in store.
How it lands
- Pickup points and lockers are the norm for anything that fits in a bag; home delivery for large items.
- The courier phones from an unknown Israeli number on the day; answer it.
- Tracking lives in an SMS link, not an email.
- Returns to Israeli sites are generally easy within the legal window; returns abroad cost real money in shipping.
Paying
Israeli sites price in shekels and offer tashlumim, interest-free instalments on an Israeli credit card. Foreign cards work on most sites but not all, and some refuse a foreign billing address; an Israeli card from your first-month bank account solves it. International sites charge in their own currency and your bank sets the exchange rate; a card without foreign-transaction fees earns its keep.
Customs
Overseas orders are taxed in bands by value: free below the first threshold, VAT between the thresholds, VAT plus duty above the top one. The figures are on the Tax Authority site and the courier sends a payment link when something is due.
