Latrun

A park of 350-odd miniature models of the country's landmarks laid out in the shape of a Star of David, next to Latrun about half an hour from Jerusalem. It is one of the few paid attractions in the centre of the country that closes for Shabbat and the festivals.

One price for every visitor from age 2: ₪86. A family ticket for four is ₪280. Tickets can be bought online or at the gate — no reservation is needed. The park warns that some models are under long-running restoration and are temporarily not moving or not working.

Discounts

₪76 for soldiers, students, pensioners and visitors with a disability on production of the relevant card. Family ticket for four ₪280. Further benefits are available through credit-card and customer clubs but must be bought in advance and brought to the ticket office as proof.

Getting there

About 30 minutes' drive from Jerusalem: Route 1 west to the Latrun interchange. There is no useful bus — bring a car.
