The southern lookout over Jerusalem from the Armon HaNatziv ridge, with the Old City, the Dome of the Rock, the Mount of Olives and Mount Scopus laid out in front of you. Haas is the middle of three linked promenades that run for about 2.5 km.

Insider tips

The Haas, Sherover and Goldman promenades link up into roughly 2.5 km of continuous walking.
Sunset is the classic time and also the busiest — arrive 45 minutes early for parking.
There is very little shade; carry water in summer.
Dogs are allowed here, which they are not at Gazelle Valley.
The olive grove and lawns behind the wall make a good picnic spot away from the railing.
